We couldn?t leave you guys too long without another edition of our Redskins Rides series presented by Easterns Automotive Group and the Washington Redskins. Tim Castle and Nick Bernardo are proud owners of a 1986 Ford F-250 John Riggins Signature Series pickup truck. For those who don?t know, John Riggins was a running back for the Washington Redskins from 1976-1865. Riggins broke numerous NFL records during his time with the Redskins and even played a major role in the Redskins winning Super Bowl XVII against the Miami Dolphins. He was named MVP the same year of the big Super Bowl win. Ford approached him with his own campaign to design his very own John Riggins Signature Series Pickup. Riggins chose the color to be burgundy with gold stripes to match the Redskins colors. Luckily for Tim and Nick, they were able to get their hands on this truck even though there was only a limited quantity made. They took the level of customization to another level by turning the stripes on the interior and exterior to arrows. This pickup even has a train horn on the back. Wow, what a unique classic! We are so happy that these two gentlemen took the time to show us a part of Washington Redskins history. This Redskins Ride is truly a piece of memorabilia.
